Lead Times
How long will it take to get my item?
All orders have a minimum lead time of four weeks.
For customizations, resizes and other requests, extended lead times may occur.

There is an additional fee for all rush services. Lackadazee does its best to accommodate rush requests.
Once your request has been received, please allow 1-3 business days for a response.

Warranty Reminders:
Lackadazee warranties only cover manufacturing defects and do not cover loss, theft, negligence or normal wear & tear. We reserve the right to charge for any repairs that are due to normal wear & tear, negligence or that fall outside of our warranty stipulations. Any repairs, customizations or work done on Lackadazee jewelry done by a third party jeweler will automatically void all warranties. *Lackadazee is responsible for determining whether an item is eligible for a repair covered by our warranty.
Non-Special Occasion Jewelry:
All Lackadazee jewelry is backed by a one year guarantee. If an issue arises with your Lackadazee piece due to manufacturing* within a year from the date of purchase, Lackadazee will repair or replace your item with no additional charge.

Special Occasion Jewelry:
All special occasion rings are backed by our lifetime warranty.
The warranty covers accent stones and issues that may arise with the special occasion item due to manufacturing, provided the customer has completed each annual check-up. Missing an annual checkup will result in the voiding of all warranties.
The warranty excludes any repairs and accent stone replacements needed due to negligence, loss, theft or normal wear and tear and main stones.
Lackadazee reserves the right to charge for any repairs that are due to normal wear & tear, negligence or that fall outside of our warranty stipulations. Any repairs, customizations or work done on Lackadazee jewelry done by a third party jeweler will automatically void all warranties.

Permanent Jewelry:
Our permanent jewelry is backed by a two week guarantee. Any issues that arise outside of the two week period are not be covered by our warranty.
Should an issue arise with your permanent jewelry within two weeks of the purchase date, contact lackadazee@gmail.com or call us at 502-242-7414 for assistance.
Repair:
All items must be received and assessed by Lackadazee before it can be determined whether the items is under warranty and eligible for a complimentary repair. If an item is not under warranty, there may be an additional fee associated with the repair.

Shipping:
If an item is not under warranty, the customer is responsible for all shipping fees associated with repairs.
If an item is under warranty, Lackadazee will cover any shipping costs related to returning the newly repaired item back to the customer.
Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping items to Lackadazee for a repair, regardless of whether the item is under warranty.
Lackadazee is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged items during shipping. We highly suggest insuring any packages for the full amount.

Standard Returns & Exchanges
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may request a return for a full refund or credit/exchange within 14 days of the delivery date. Issue with your item? Check out our Warranty & Repair Policy.
Items returned/exchanged without prior notification and approval will not be accepted and be returned to sender.
Subject to a 15% Restocking Fee:
- Items with a cost equal to $1000 or more
- Items purchased using layaway, third party BNPL plans (including, but not limited to, Affirm)
Final Sale. Not eligible for returns/exchanges:
- Items that have been altered, customized, resized, engraved
- Purchased on sale

To Begin a Return

2. Ship It Back
- Items must be unworn and in original packaging. Any items that fail to meet this requirement will be ineligible for a return.
- All return packages must be postmarked within 7 days of the request being accepted.
- Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns and exchange
- It is highly suggested that customer's insure return packages for their full value. Lackadazee is not liable for any items that get lost or damaged during transit. A refund cannot be guaranteed without proof of shipping insurance.
3. Refund
- Once Lackadazee receives and inspects the item, a refund will be issued to the original payment method (minus applicable restocking and shipping fees).
Permanent Jewelry
All permanent bracelets are final sale and not eligible for exchanges/refunds.
Permanent jewelry appointment cancellations are only eligible for store credit exchanges.
No-call, no-show permanent jewelry appointments are not eligible for store credit refunds.

Custom & Sale Returns & Exchanges
Items that have been altered or customized or items purchased on sale are considered final sale and are not eligible for return/exchange.
This includes, but is not limited to, permanent jewelry, resized items, speciality stones, partial customs, engravings, etc.
Non-Jewelry Returns & Exchanges
Any non-jewelry items (jewelry cleaner, polish clothes, signature jewelry boxes and more) are not final sale & not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Can you tell me more about your sustainable shipping practices?
All items are packaged and shipped using consciously sourced materials.
Lackadazee honors customer requests for reduced packaging in any ship out or pick up orders.
Shipping Materials:
- Including boxes, shipping tape, tissue paper, leaflets and business cards are made from 100% post consumer recycled materials and printed using non-toxic, bio-based ink.
- All items in a package (besides the heavy duty sticker) can be recycled or commercially composted.
Product Materials:
- Including our standard and signature jewelry boxes, cotton pouches and paper inserts are consciously sourced and designed to reuse.
Poly-Based Items:
- Each order comes with one poly-based, heavy-duty Lackadazee sticker. This can be left out, upon request.
- The standard ring box comes with a poly-based cushion insert, which is used to keep the ring secure and in place. This can be reused.
- The standard jewelry box comes with a poly-based cushion to keep jewelry secure and in place. This can be reused.

Do you offer walk-ins?
We sure do! Visit us anytime during open hours for a walk-in. Please note, we highly recommend appointments for the weekends.
What does "permanent jewelry" mean?
Our trained metalsmiths will weld on a custom fit bracelet or necklace to using a painless, quick and easy process. Because the chain is welded on, it does not have a clasp and therefore will "permanently" stay on (until you decide to remove it or it comes off with time/wear).
Can I remove the chain, if I want?
Should you want to remove your permanent chain, they can easily be snipped off with a common pair of household or grooming scissors.
How long will my chain last? What do I do if my bracelet breaks or stretches?
Chains can last weeks, months or years. This is dependent on the type of chain, your lifestyle, job and other external factors. If your permanent chain breaks or stretches, put it in a safe place and schedule a repair.
What chain options do you have? Pricing?
You can choose from a variety of recycled sterling silver chains or recycled 14k solid gold. Check out available chain options here
Occasionally, styles that are shown online may be temporarily out of stock in store. To ensure your preferred chain is in stock, we recommend contacting us prior to coming in.
Do they contain nickel?
No. Our recycled 14k gold and sterling silver is nickel-free.
Do you offer permanent anklets?
No. We have found that anklets do not last as long as other types of permanent jewlery and can be uncomfortable with certain types of shoes.
We also could not find a way to make the process of putting on a permanent anklet accessible for all and therefore, don't feel comfortable offering permanent anklets.
Do you offer permanent necklaces?
Yes! We offer permanent necklaces of all our chain options, at any length.
Can you take your permanent jewelry through airport security?
Yes. Airport security should not ask you to remove it. Our permanent jewelry have been at airports all over the world with no problem.
Can you get an MRI with a permanent bracelet?
Based on customer feedback, whether you will be able to wear our permanent jewelry during an MRI depends on the technician and why you are receiving the MRI.
If you need to remove your permanent jewelry for any reason (medical or otherwise), you can do so at home or stop by Lackadazee to have it removed by us.
Do host private events at your store?
Yes, we do.
Permanent jewelry is the perfect way to commemorate birthdays, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, work events and more.

Do you offer repairs on non-lackadazee permanent jewelry?
Yes. We offer standard repairs & refittings for $25 on any permanent jewelry from a different store or maker.
Please note, we do not offer a guarantee on non-lackadazee chains or repairs done on non-lackadazee chains. Complex or large repairs may come with an additional fee. We uphold the right to not do repairs on any non-lackadazee permanent jewelry, for any reason.
How do I book an appointment?

Yes, walk-ins are accepted anytime during open hours.

Additional Information
How does the Jewelry Recycling Program work?
The mission of our recycling program is to provide customers with a convenient, safe and transparent way to properly dispose of unwanted/broken jewelry.
This is not a "cash for gold/silver" initiative. Any accepted items will be eligible for a shopping credit that can be used online or in-store.
Complete the following steps:
1. Choose Your Items:
Accepted Items: Solid gold (10k, 14k, 18k, 22k, 24k), sterling silver or authentic gemstones (diamonds, sapphires, opals, aquamarine, etc.).
Non-Accepted Items: Titanium, platinum, stainless steel. Cracked or damaged gemstones. Swarovski crystal and imitation gemstones. 9k gold or less. Gold plate or gold fill items can be recycled but are not eligible for perks.
2. Print & Fill Out:
The Jewelry Recycling Program Form.
3. Secure Items:
Place the form and the items you want to be recycled (make sure the items are secure and not loose in the package) into a package.
4. Ship or Drop Off:

5. Quality Verification:
Once your package has been received, you will receive an email letting you know your items arrived safely. All items will undergo a quality verification by our trained staff. If they meet our requirements, you'll receive a store credit to our shop in exchange for your item. The higher the quality and weight of the items, the higher the credit.
In order to test the quality of metals, jewelry may need to be CUT INTO OR THE SURFACE MAY BE SCRAPED. By sending in any items, you are consenting to our metal smiths scraping or cutting into any items sent.
Lead Time: Please allow 2-4 weeks for your items to undergo quality verification.
6. Get Your Store Credit:
Once quality verification has been completed, you will receive an email letting you know how much store credit you've earned.
7. You're All Done!
Accepted items will be melted down, turned into new products & will help reduce waste in the fine jewelry industry.
Non-Accepted items can either be returned to you or we will do our best to find a purpose for them. Please note which you would prefer on the Jewelry Recycling Program Form.
What can I send in?
You can send anything containing gold (10k-24k) or sterling silver. That includes broken jewelry, brooches, silver flatware, rings, scraps of silver/gold, etc.
We accept plated or filled items however these items are not eligible for store credit. If you're unsure of whether we will accept an item, email lackadazee@gmail.com with a picture and description of the item.
Why aren't plated or fill items eligible for perks?
Lackadazee does not have the capability to recycle plated or filled items. For this reason, we will accept these items for our recycling program only for your convenience. These items cannot be used by Lackadazee and will be sent to a third party program to be properly recycled.
What do I get in exchange for my items?
As this is a recycling program, we do not offer cash for items. We do, however, offer a Lackadazee store credit for any items that meet our requirements based on the items type, weight and quality as a thank you for responsibly recycling your precious metals!
How Do I Turn My Items Into the Recycling Program?

If my items do not meet the Recycling Program requirements or I change my mind, can I get my items back?
Absolutely! Once your items have been received and processed, you will receive an email letting you know if your items met our requirements and how much store credit you are eligible to receive. You have 10 business days to respond and confirm before items are recycled or donated. If you would like your items back, please be aware that you are responsible for shipping & handling on returns.
Do you accept diamonds and other gemstones?
How do I clean and care for my new jewelry?
This is a general guideline for jewelry care. Each piece of jewelry is unique and has specific cleaning needs. If you have questions on the care of your jewelry, contact us.
General Care
Gold, gemstones, and even diamonds can chip, crack, or scratch if they are knocked against an object that has a stronger composition. Gemstones like opals, pearls, turquoise, etc. are particularly soft stones and are easily susceptible to chips and fractures. Handle with care.
Check out our jewelry cleaning products or clean your pieces at home with these DIY solutions.
All Gold Jewelry: Soak in soapy water (we recommend Miss Meyers of 7th Generation) for 10 minutes. Scrub gently with a soft toothbrush. Dry with a soft cloth.
All Silver Jewelry: Make a thick paste with 1/4 cup baking soda and two tablespoons of water. Brush onto silver and rub. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
Jewelry with Gemstones: Gemstones require a varying care routine and improper care could result in stone fractures, cracks or chips. Please contact us before attempting to clean your gemstone jewelry at home.
