What does "permanent jewelry" mean?
Our metalsmiths will weld on a custom fit bracelet or necklace to using a painless, quick and easy process. Because the chain is welded on, it does not have a clasp and therefore will "permanently" stay on (until you decide to remove it or it comes off with time).
Can I remove the chain, if I want?
Should you want to remove your permanent chain, they can easily be snipped off with a common pair of household or grooming scissors.
How long will my chain last?
What do I do if my bracelet breaks or stretches?
Chains can last weeks, months or years. This is dependent on the type of chain, your lifestyle, job and other external factors. If your permanent chain breaks or stretches, put it in a safe place and contact us for a repair.
What chain options do you have? Pricing?
You can choose from a variety of recycled sterling silver chains or recycled 14k solid gold.
Do they contain nickel?
No. Our recycled 14k gold and sterling silver is nickel-free.
Do you offer permanent anklets?
No. We have found that anklets do not last as long as other types of permanent jewlery and can be uncomfortable with certain types of shoes.
We also could not find a way to make the process of putting on a permanent anklet accessible for all and therefore, don't feel comfortable offering permanent anklets.
Can you take your permanent jewelry through airport security?
Yes. Airport security should not ask you to remove it. Our permanent jewelry have been at airports all over the world with no problem.
Can you get an MRI with a permanent bracelet?
Sometimes. Based on customer feedback, it seems whether you can wear a permanent bracelet during an MRI depends on the technician and why you are receiving the MRI.
If you need to remove your permanent jewelry for any reason (medical or otherwise), we offer repairs to have your chain put back on.
